Linda Hess

Linda Hess is a senior lecturer in the Department of Religious Studies at Stanford University, and is affiliated with Stanford's Center for South Asia, which she co-directed from 2006 to 2009. She is the author of numerous articles on Kabir, Tulsidas and Ramlila performance as well as the books The Bijak of Kabir (2002) and Bodies of Song: Kabir Oral Traditions and Performative Worlds in Northern India (2015).
