Debanuj Dasgupta

Debanuj Dasgupta is an assistant professor in Geography and Women’s, Gender, Sexuality Studies at the University of Connecticut. His research and teaching interests are broadly related to neoliberalism, religious extremism and bio-politics in contemporary United States and India, for which he has received the prestigious New Voices Fellowship by the Ford Foundation and the T. J. Reynolds Award in Disability Geographies by the American Association of Geographers. His work has been published in journals such as Disability Studies Quarterly, Contemporary South Asia, among others.
