Iain Galbraith

Iain Galbraith was born in Scotland and studied at universities in the UK and Germany, where he now lives. His most recent book publications include a volume of poetry, The True Height of the Ear (2018), as well as translations of Jan Wagner’s Self-portrait with a Swarm of Bees (2015) and Esther Kinsky’s novel River (2017). He has received several prizes for his translations, including the Stephen Spender Prize (2014), the Popescu Prize for European Poetry Translation (2015) and the Schlegel-Tieck Prize (2016).
