Peter Wortsman

The American-born son of German-speaking Jewish émigrés, Peter Wortsman is the author of books of fiction, poetry, stage plays and nonfiction, including an Independent Publishers Book Award–winning travel memoir, Ghost Dance in Berlin. His English translations from German include an anthology, Tales of the German Imagination, and works by Peter Altenberg, Franz Kafka, Heinrich von Kleist, Heinrich Heine, E. T. A. Hoffmann and Robert Musil.
