Heather Levi

Heather Levi is an assistant professor of cultural anthropology at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is the author of The World of Lucha Libre: Secrets, Revelations and Mexican National Identity (Duke University Press, 2008). She has trained in lucha libre (Mexican professional wrestling) as well as several martial arts. Now she mostly bangs on drums and brews the occasional batch of ale.
