Pallavi Aiyar

Pallavi Aiyar has worked as a foreign correspondent for over fifteen years, reporting from China, Europe, Indonesia and Japan. She is the author of five books, including the Vodafone Crossword Award–winning memoir Smoke and Mirrors (2008) and New Old World, a Foreign Affairs magazine pick for the Best Books of 2016. She is the youngest winner of the Prem Bhatia Memorial Prize for political reporting for her dispatches from China.
