Rossana Rossanda

Rossana Rossanda (1924–2020) was one of the leading communist intellectuals in post-war Italy and a founding editor of the newspaper il manifesto. She was the author of several books, including L’anno degli studenti, and Anche per me. Donna, persona, memoria dal 1973 al 1986. Her political memoir The Comrade from Milan was published by Verso Books in 2010.
