Michał Witkowski

Michał Witkowski has published more than eight novels and two collections of short stories, and has won and/or been nominated for most of Poland’s major literary awards. His groundbreaking novel Lubiewo (2004), the first explicitly queer novel to be published in Polish, has been translated into over 12 languages. The English translation, Lovetown (2010), was longlisted for the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize in 2011. He lives in Warsaw.
