Iván Mándy
Iván Mándy (1918–1995) was one of the most widely read Hungarian writers of the post-war period. His best-known works include the novel Fabulya felesegei (1959) and the story collections A palya szelen (1963), Az ordog konyhaja (1965) and Mi van Verval? (1970). He was co-editor of the independent and apolitical literary review Ujhold until its suppression in 1948.
