Max Lane

Max Lane is a writer and lecturer on Indonesian politics, history and literature and Southeast Asian affairs. He is the author of Unfinished Nation: Indonesia before and after Suharto and Catastrophe in Indonesia, the latter published by Seagull Books. He has translated the works of some of Indonesia’s most important writers, including Pramoedya Ananta Toer and W. S. Rendra.
